Digital technology is revolutionizing our nation’s health care system. Digital technology has the power to make health care more accessible, more coordinated, and more responsive to community needs. Not only can digital health tools help inform families about their children’s health and options for coverage and care, but they can also empower youth to make better health care decisions for themselves. Using technology, children’s health information can be in one place, and health care professionals can work together to ensure children’s health needs are met by delivering the right care.
At TCP, we are harnessing the power of digital technology to benefit children’s health. We identify the impact of powerful new technologies that deliver health care services and promote new and innovative ways to share and coordinate information, especially for our most vulnerable children, such as those in foster care and those with special health care needs.
Partnerships & Community:
We collaborate with a diverse network of partners to bring new technologies that improve the quality of care for children, while lowering costs and expanding the availability of health care to those who lack access. Our work advances solutions that meet the needs of the whole child to help empower families, caregivers, and youth themselves to make more informed health decisions.
We advocate on behalf of children for the development and adoption of digital health care policies and initiatives in California and at the federal level. We help ensure that digital tools are designed to meet the specific needs of children and youth.
