2020 HIGHLIGHTS: YEAR IN REVIEW
As this challenging year comes to a close, TCP reflects on progress made in our fight for children. This year saw deepening inequities for children and families in California and across the country. The COVID-19 pandemic, the economy, and the reckoning with racial injustice have all had profound impacts to California’s already marginalized children. Our 2020 Highlights share how we met the challenges of this year to continue supporting the health and wellbeing of children.
WHAT WE’VE DONE: 2019 HIGHLIGHTS
The Children’s Partnership holds itself to definable outcomes that lead to improvements in the lives of children and families. These impacts include definition of an agenda for children on emerging issue areas where no such agenda exists, significant changes in federal and state policy to improve health and educational opportunities, and direct health and educational benefits for children and families in California communities.
