Associate Director of Policy, Child & Family Services – Los Angeles, California

The Children’s Partnership (TCP) is seeking a seasoned professional to help lead and implement strategies in policy and advocacy efforts related to system-involved youth and support other projects aimed at improving the well-being of underserved children through health and technology. Serving as a leader in the field on issues related to child welfare, care coordination, and vulnerable youth, the Associate Policy Director will provide strategic thinking, in-depth research and policy analysis, and expertise on relevant national and California developments. She/he will also help shape community-based pilot projects and engage in outreach, advocacy, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in developing and managing relationships with stakeholders, engaging community partners, and applying policy and research expertise toward outcomes that help ensure children are safe, healthy, and thriving. This position may be adapted to a more senior role for the right candidate and fit.

Senior Government Relations Associate – Washington, DC

The Children’s Partnership (TCP) is seeking a highly motivated professional to help advance our policy and advocacy goals and mission at the state and local levels. Under the direction of senior leadership, the Senior Government Relations Associate works on a broad range of child health, child welfare, and technology areas impacting underserved children, with a primary focus on federal and state work. This position communicates research findings and policy recommendations to congressional and other policymakers and staff, works to strengthen TCP’s coalition efforts with national organizations, and identifies opportunities to work with other groups and constituencies. Responsibilities include research & analysis, writing, project management, legislative & appropriations monitoring & tracking, relationship development & management, strategy development, and maintaining a presence for TCP in Washington, DC.

Policy Associate – Los Angeles, CA

Under the direction of senior leadership, the Policy Associate serves as an internal expert on a range of issues, including children’s health coverage & care, mental health, oral health, telehealth, and/or child welfare. Communications Associate – Los Angeles, CA

The Children’s Partnership (TCP) is seeking a highly motivated communications professional to advance our work through strategic communications and execution. This includes active management of social media and support for other forms of digital media, provision of editorial support, and coordination of other select communications projects. The Communications Associate will also monitor media to stay current on issues relevant to TCP’s agenda, assist with outreach, and develop and maintain a media archive. In addition, the Communications Associate will provide short-term research support for a variety of communications projects. Lastly, the successful candidate will write in a fresh and modern voice for digital and print formats and present content visually with a strong eye for design, art, and photography.

Senior Director, Policy & Programs – Los Angeles, CA
The Children’s Partnership (TCP) is seeking a seasoned professional to provide professional leadership, set strategic direction, and oversee TCP’s program work to meet organizational goals and advance our mission. Reporting directly to the President, the Senior Director of Policy and Programs will have overall strategic and operational responsibility, helping set, clarify, and fundraise for policy & program priority areas with the goal of increasing the impact of our work. Serving as a leader, strategist, and advocate, the Senior Director will bring an organization-wide perspective to policy & program activities, manage workflow, and troubleshoot issues as they arise. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record as a relationship-builder and communicator with experience leading diverse work teams, developing an organization-wide strategy for program excellence, engaging community partners, and partnering with executive leadership to chart TCP’s future growth.
