Kristie is Development Manager at The Children’s Partnership. She fosters and expands TCP’s development capacity by overseeing grants management, supporting executive leadership and senior staff in maintaining foundation relationships and identifying and advancing funding, and providing support to the Board of Directors and senior staff on other fundraising efforts.
Kristie contributes to funding strategy across all of TCP’s programs and secures support from individuals, foundations, and corporate sponsors to help TCP accomplish its mission to better the health and well-being of underserved children.
Her previous work in nonprofit development focused on college readiness programs and at-risk children’s after-school and enrichment programs, such as those at Aspire Education Project in Oakland, CA, and Everybody Deserves Music in Los Angeles, CA. She brings many years of academic grant-writing experience to TCP and spent a decade teaching writing and English Literature at, among others, Rutgers University and Macalester College.
Kristie received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in English from San Francisco State University and holds a PhD in English from Rutgers University.
