We all have a role to play in promoting the health and well-being of our children. It truly does take a village to raise a child. Communities, schools, businesses, families, and others influence children on a day-to-day basis. Providing tools and resources to the many partners reaching children helps support the healthy development of children.
Too many children are missing school because of preventable and manageable health conditions. When students suffer from untreated health problems, they are more likely to perform poorly in class or miss school altogether. Students affected by illness in class are less able to concentrate and learn. Chronically absent students are less likely to graduate from high school and succeed later in life.
At TCP, we are all in for kids. ALL IN For Health brings new tools and information about health coverage and care opportunities directly into communities. Through high-impact partnerships with local organizations, we reach families and children where they live, learn, and play. Schools, health centers, faith-based organizations, libraries, and other community centers can play a critical role in reaching children and families to help them make sure they have what they need to lead healthy lives.
