Technology-Enabled Innovations for Improving Children's
Health
This research and policy initiative is a joint project of The
Children's Partnership and the Public Health Institute/Health Technology
Center (HealthTech) to assess how information and communication
technology can improve children’s health, and to support planning
activities that ensure that the most promising technologies are
effectively deployed. Based on our research, forecasting, and the
convening of an Expert Panel, the project has developed state-level
policies to support California's health information technology/health
information exchange (HIT/HIE) strategic planning and
implementation.
Research and Forecasting
Phase One includes the research and forecasting. The following
resources can be downloaded individually below, or downloaded as
one package here.
Policy and Operational Recommendations
Phase II of the project builds off the Phase I research and findings
to develop specific policy and operational recommendations for
California. Further information about this phase of the project will be
available soon.
The Health Technology Center and The Children’s Partnership
thank The
California Endowment for its support of this project.
